Our Church in Mission:
Jesus calls us to love our neighbor, near and far, and we are a community that puts our love of neighbor into action!
- We support our local food pantries
The Finesville Food Pantry – The Open Cupboard of Clinton – NORWESCAP (Our area Food Bank) – Washington NJ Food Pantry
We collect and donate food for the pantries. We also volunteer our time at NORWESCAP to sort and prepare donations that will then be distributed.
- We participate in the local CROP Walk
A program to raise awareness of hunger in our area and raises funds for local organizations addressing the problem of hunger.
- Our Sunday School supports the HEIFER Project.
Last year the children donated funds for the purchase of chickens and sheep.
- We support the inmates of the Edna Mahan Correctional InstituteWe support the Christmas Gift program for the families of the inmates.
- Operation Christmas Child – Operation ShoeboxThis year we have set a goal to collect 100 boxes by October that will be sent overseas.
- Superstorm Sandy Relief EffortsWe support the churches and people who were effected by this devastating storm, by raising funds and helping to support the many mission groups coming to the area by preparing meals.
